About “1001 Ways to be Romantic”
The Book
This is the book that started it all. Before 1001 Ways to be Romantic, there were book categories for “love,” for “relationsips,” and for “sex”—but there was no category for “romantic advice.” Before 1001 Ways to be Romantic, everyone used the phrase “1001 Ways to . . .” to mean “a LOT.” Greg Godek was the first author to take the phrase literally, and created a book that took the phrase LITERALLY, and presented a numbered listing—from 1 to 1001—of creative ways to express love.
1001 Ways to be Romantic is a #1 bestseller, being the bestselling book of all time in its category. The book is also one of the few big success stories among self-published books. More than 3 million copies have been sold worldwide, and 11 sequels have sold another million copies. 1001 Ways has been translated into 9 languages.
The biggest booksigning tour in history
Following the author’s appearances on Oprah, Donahue and The Today Show, the book received outrageous publicity from the biggest booksigning tour every undertaken in the publishing industry: Greg an his wife traveled for two years, cross-country several times, aboard a custom 36-foot RV covered with movie-poster-like graphics. They hit 43 states and 237 bookstores, while conducting radio and TV interviews to fill-in their spare time.
